OUR LADY PEACE in Moncton May 13 ROCKED!

Tonight Sam, Pam and I ventured to Moncton to see Sam's favorite band in concert Our Lady Peace. We had lower bowel seats in section 2 which weren't too bad. There was not one but two opening acts and I again could not wait for them to get off the stage and bring on OLP. The first opening band was JETS OVERHEAD. I actually didn't mind them but still would rather it been OLP. Then after them was a band called NEVERENDING WHITE LIGHTS or something crazy...they did not turn me on at all. However, on the second last song they song Raine from OLP came out and sung it with them. So that was cool.
Finally at about 910pm OLP came on stage and they put on a show. They sang songs from the new cd and tons of hits from previous cd's. They were on stage a total of about 2 hours. We decided to stand for the concert and were on the rail behind the seats right beside the stage...we could see everything. Raine sang "wipe that smile off your face" one of my favorites because of the meaning behind it. He took the American flag and threw it on stage and grabbed the Canadian flag and held it high, making you proud to be Canadian. He also went into the crowd and let about 50 people on stage for the remainer of the show. They got to say on stage behind the drummer the whole time....way cool. Then when they came back for the encore Raine ran off the stage into the crowd and stood in the middle of the crowd singing.
IT WAS AWESOME! Raine is hot...I agree with Sam and Pam on that one.
It was a long day for us all and we got home around 1am but well worth it all.
I would see OLP again and again. What a great night!
